Connect Upstash to Saasmetry
How full a serverless Redis is, and whether it is still answering — reported like any other host.
What Saasmetry reads
Refreshed every 15 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Upstash.
Create the credential
- Upstash Console → Account → Management API → Create API Key.
- Copy it when it is shown, and enter the email address of the same account below.
- After connecting, pick the database each product reads from its data sources.
Worth knowing
- Upstash authenticates with your account email alongside the key, which is why both are asked for. The email is stored as a setting; the key is encrypted like every other credential.
- Fullness is measured against the plan's disk limit, so a free database looks fuller than a paid one holding the same data.
- Only Redis databases are read. Vector and QStash have their own APIs that this adapter does not speak.
Is it safe to paste?
An Upstash Management API key can manage databases for its account. Saasmetry encrypts it and only reads database metadata and usage.
Upstash issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
