Connect Neon to Saasmetry
Compute and storage consumption for a serverless Postgres. Usage only — Neon publishes no price.
What Saasmetry reads
Refreshed every 15 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Neon.
Create the credential
- Neon Console → Account settings → API keys → Create new API key.
- Copy it when it is shown.
- After connecting, pick the project each product reads from its data sources.
Worth knowing
- Neon reports consumption, not cost. Compute seconds and storage byte-hours appear on the product's spend panel; no money figure is shown, because Neon publishes none.
- The figures are billing units — byte-hours rather than bytes — so storage reads as an amount held over time, not a size on disk.
- An API key reaches every project the account can see, so pick the project deliberately.
Is it safe to paste?
A Neon API key authorizes management API operations across every project the account can access. Saasmetry encrypts it and only reads project and consumption data.
Neon issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
