Create the credential

Coolify is self-hosted, so the credential is created in your own instance rather than on a vendor dashboard.

1. Coolify → Keys & Tokens → API tokens → Create New Token.
2. Give it read-only permissions.
3. Give Saasmetry your Coolify URL as well.

Exactly what to grant

Worth knowing

• The token looks like 2|3RBAkwO0F7… — the leading number and the pipe are part of it, not a prefix to strip.
• If every call returns 404, check the API is enabled in Coolify's settings.
• A token without server scope still reads deployments; Saasmetry reports the missing host data as a warning rather than failing.

Is it safe to paste?

Use read-only scopes wherever the provider offers them. Saasmetry encrypts the credential and only reads provider data.
