Create the credential

Beszel is self-hosted, so the credential is created in your own instance rather than on a vendor dashboard.

1. Beszel issues no API keys. Create a read-only user in the hub and share the systems you want read with it.
2. Give Saasmetry that user's email and password. It signs in once, stores only the session token, and never writes the password down.

Worth knowing

• Use a read-only user rather than your admin account: it can view the systems shared with it and change nothing.
• Beszel's own docs warn its system fields can change between minor releases, so Saasmetry reads each one defensively and reports a missing one as a warning rather than failing.

Is it safe to paste?

Saasmetry signs in once, stores only the returned session token, and never saves your password. The session has the signed-in user's authority, so keep using a dedicated read-only account.
