Connect Railway to Saasmetry
Builds and their outcomes, beside the errors they caused.
What Saasmetry reads
Refreshed every 5 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Railway.
Create the credential
- Railway → Account Settings → Tokens → Create Token.
- Scope it to the workspace whose projects you want read.
- After connecting, pick the project each product reads from its data sources.
Worth knowing
- Railway tokens carry the full permissions of the account that made them — there are no scopes and no read-only variant.
- A token scoped to one workspace cannot see another's projects, so a portfolio spread across workspaces needs one connection each.
- Removed and skipped builds are recorded as cancelled rather than failed, so the failure count stays a count of things that actually broke.
Is it safe to paste?
A Railway token carries the account's full permissions in its selected workspace and has no read-only variant. Saasmetry encrypts it and never uses its write capabilities.
Railway issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
