2. Copy it when it is shown; Render does not show it again.
3. After connecting, pick the service each product reads from its data sources.

Worth knowing

• Render issues no read-only key. Its own reference says an API key reaches every workspace you belong to, and Saasmetry only ever reads with it.
• Deploys only. Render also exposes CPU, memory, disk and bandwidth metrics, but its published spec declares no required parameters for those endpoints — so the contract is unverified and no host or usage figures are recorded rather than plausible ones.
• A key belongs to you, not to a workspace. Services in a workspace you leave stop reporting without warning.

Is it safe to paste?

A Render API key reaches every workspace your account belongs to and can create, suspend and delete services; Render issues no read-only equivalent. Saasmetry encrypts it and only reads the workspace list, your services, and their deploys.

Render issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
