Connect Polar to Saasmetry
MRR, ARPU and churn from a merchant of record, reported rather than reconstructed.
What Saasmetry reads
metrics:read
Refreshed every 15 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Polar.
Create the credential
- Polar → Settings → Developers → New Token.
- Grant the single scope below and nothing else.
- Copy it when it is shown.
Exactly what to grant
metrics:read
Worth knowing
- Polar is one of the few providers here with a genuinely narrow scope: metrics:read reads the figures and can reach nothing else.
- Polar reports MRR, ARPU and churn itself, so these are its numbers rather than Saasmetry's arithmetic on top of raw orders.
- A sandbox organisation has its own token and its own API host, so a sandbox token reports nothing for a live one.
Is it safe to paste?
Use read-only scopes wherever the provider offers them. Saasmetry encrypts the credential and only reads provider data.
