Connect App Store Connect to Saasmetry

Proceeds and units for an iOS app, read from Apple's sales reports rather than through a middleman.

What Saasmetry reads

App Store Connect → Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → generate a key with the Sales and Reports role.

Take the vendor number from Payments and Financial Reports — reports are filed under it rather than under an app.

The Sales and Reports role is the narrowest one that can read these reports. A key with more access reads the same numbers and risks more.
Apple publishes a day's report the next day and holds none for today, so figures always end yesterday. A brand new app has no reports at all, which reads as a 404 and is recorded as no sales rather than as a failure.
The figure shown is developer proceeds over the window — what Apple pays you, after its commission — and not the price customers paid.
Proceeds arrive per territory, so one report can hold several currencies. Only the currency earning the most is counted, and the sync says which others it left out; a total mixing currencies would be denominated in none of them.
Units are downloads and purchases, not people. Apple's active-user figures come from a separate Analytics API that this connection does not read, so no user count is reported here.
