Connect Lemon Squeezy to Saasmetry
Subscriptions from a merchant of record — MRR and customer counts for anyone selling without their own tax registrations.
What Saasmetry reads
Refreshed every 15 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Lemon Squeezy.
Create the credential
- Lemon Squeezy → Settings → API → create an API key.
- Copy it when it is shown.
- After connecting, pick the store each product reads from its data sources.
Worth knowing
- Lemon Squeezy publishes no MRR figure, so Saasmetry works it out from active subscriptions and their prices. A subscription on a plan whose price has since changed is counted at the price it currently renews at.
- Yearly and multi-month plans are converted to a monthly figure, so MRR here is normalised rather than billed — a $120 annual plan reads as $10.
- Keys are created in live or test mode. A test key reports the test store, which looks like a real store with no customers.
Is it safe to paste?
A Lemon Squeezy API key can access and change resources in its store. Saasmetry encrypts it and only reads subscriptions, prices, and orders.
Lemon Squeezy issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
