1. Claude Console → Settings → Organization → Admin keys → create a key. Only an organisation admin can.
2. Copy it when it is shown, and paste it here.
3. To split spend per product, run each product's usage in its own Claude workspace and pick that workspace from the product's data sources.

Worth knowing

• This needs an Admin API key (sk-ant-admin…), not the sk-ant-api… key your application sends messages with. The ordinary key is refused, which is the likeliest way a correct-looking connection fails.
• The Admin API is unavailable for individual accounts — the organisation has to exist, which is a Console setting rather than a plan.
• Spend is attributed by workspace. Products sharing one workspace cannot be told apart, so their spend is reported once for the workspace rather than split by guesswork.
• Costs arrive in whole cents. Anthropic reports the amount in minor units already, so a figure here is the bill and not a hundredth of it.
• Only the first page of the report is read. When Anthropic paginates, the sync says the figure is an under-report rather than passing it off as the whole bill.

Is it safe to paste?

An Admin API key can administer organisation members, workspaces and API keys. Saasmetry encrypts it and uses it only to read the organisation name, its workspaces, and the cost report.

Anthropic issues no read-only key, so this credential is broader than Saasmetry needs. Saasmetry only ever reads — but you should know that before you paste it, rather than after.
