What Saasmetry reads
stats:read
Refreshed every 10 min. Read-only throughout: Saasmetry never writes to Plausible.
Create the credential
- Account settings → API keys → New API key.
- Self-hosted: the same page on your own instance, and give Saasmetry that instance URL.
Worth knowing
- This is a Stats API key. The site-provisioning key is a separate, paid thing that Saasmetry does not use — which is why Saasmetry cannot list your sites and asks for the domain instead.
- A Plausible site ID is the domain exactly as you added it, so the product's own domain is usually already correct.
Is it safe to paste?
Use read-only scopes wherever the provider offers them. Saasmetry encrypts the credential and only reads provider data.
