Create the credential

Open PostHog

1. Settings → Personal API keys → Create personal API key.
2. Grant the scopes below, and give the key access to the projects Saasmetry should read.

Worth knowing

• Set the region URL to match your cloud — eu.posthog.com or us.posthog.com. A key from one region gets a 401 from the other.
• Scopes alone are not enough: the key's organization and project access has to include the project you want, or every scoped call is refused.

Is it safe to paste?

Use read-only scopes wherever the provider offers them. Saasmetry encrypts the credential and only reads provider data.
